“Third fire” decoration is the process of printing a design on the surface of a previously fired tile, using a glaze like material. The tile is then re-fired fusing the new print to the existing glaze. This process enhances the original tile’s beauty and value. Refine Tile currently has this capability and is in the process of adding more advanced third fire technology.

In addition to traditional third fire techniques, Refine Tile has the technology to produce, apply and fire decal applications onto the surface of a previously fired tile.
